Why might I choose Osteopathic treatment?

Australian Health Regulation Law strictly forbids any registered health professional making any claims of cure; that treatment is effective; or that a certain treatment can help or improve a certain condition, unless there is good quality evidence to justify such a claim. Quality scientific research is prohibitively expensive, and afforded only by those industries that can expect a good financial return on such a big investment.

Osteopaths are primary healthcare providers who spend the one-on-one time necessary to assess each patient as an individual.

Osteopathic Medicine itself has been in existence for over 140 years, and in US the principles of Osteopathy are applied in Osteopathic hospitals and in family practice alike. Osteopathy in Australia remains drug and surgery free.

In everyday practice, an Osteopath will apply the holistic principles of Osteopathic Medicine, and each treatment will be tailored to the needs of each unique individual.

Australian Health Regulation Law also strictly forbids osteopaths and doctors from using any kind of customer testimonial. We are therefore unable to offer you a window into other people's lives, or their personal experiences of Osteopathy. What our clinic can do however, is list the most common reasons that people of all ages have sought out osteopathic treatment with us.
